Bestseller was founded in Denmark in 1975 by Troels Holch Povlsen.
Bestseller does not have its own processing factories. They work closely with selected suppliers, who are mainly located in Europe and Asia. At the same time, Bestseller has more than 50 designers to design clothing styles and track fashion trends.
In China, a wholly-owned subsidiary, Bestseller Fashion Co., Ltd., was established in 1996, mainly operating three brands: ONLY, Jack & Jones and Vero Moda. In 2008, Selected also entered China. Since then, the Chinese company has operated four brands.
Bestseller is a family business founded in 1975. Since its establishment, the company has grown rapidly and currently has nearly 1,600 directly-operated stores and more than 7,000 franchise stores worldwide, with more than 12,000 employees engaged in brand research and development and market promotion and sales.
Initially, Bestseller focused on developing fashionable women's clothing. In a few years, Bestseller gained momentum in the fashionable women's clothing market. In 1987, Bestseller began to introduce children's clothing product lines. Soon after, it launched a men's clothing brand in 1989. So far, Bestseller has 11 brands including VERO MODA, ONLY, Object, VILA, PH Industries, phink industries, Name It/Newborn, selected, JACK&JONES, tdk and PIECES.

ONLY: Style: Young, urban, unique, suitable for leisure places. (Female)
Age target: 18-28.
There are more than 900 stores nationwide.
VEROMODA: Mature and urban, simple style, elegant and sexy, confident and independent. (Female)
Age target: 25-35.
There are more than 810 stores nationwide.
JACK&JONES: Casual, popular, fashionable, unique style, clear outline. (Male)
Age target: 18-30.
There are more than 1,030 stores nationwide.
SELECTED: Business casual, focusing on professional tailoring and emphasizing detail design. (Male)
Age target: 25-35
There are more than 170 stores nationwide.
