Understand the policies of eBay US site, enter the eBay store status faster, and be full of vitality! The policy update of eBay's US site mainly includes two parts: updating the seller rating standards and adjusting the store seller fee rate. eBay will have higher requirements for excellent rated sellers, but the incentives for becoming an excellent rated seller will also be greater. For sellers who do not meet the standards, the transaction fee will increase. The transaction fee for store sellers has also been adjusted. (I) Changes to eBay Excellent Rated Sellers (eTRS) 1. All Top Rated sellers, regardless of whether they have an eBay store, will receive a $30 promotional listing subsidy each quarter to create promoted listings. This subsidy is valuable and can be used to promote your listings across the eBay platform, and now there are more promotional locations on many of our most visited pages. Super Store sellers currently receive a $25 promotional listing subsidy each quarter. If a Super Store seller is also a Top Rated seller, they will be eligible for an additional $30 subsidy each quarter, which means a total subsidy of $55 per quarter. 2. Starting from May 20, 2017, the requirement for uploading logistics tracking information for the qualification of excellent rated sellers will be increased from 90% to 95%. In other words, for at least 95% of transactions with US buyers in the past 3 months, excellent rated sellers must upload valid cargo tracking information to the eBay platform within the processing time they promised. (Tip: Sellers can replace parcels without tracking numbers by using more logistics services such as Yiyoubao, Yidibao, and online China Post Small Parcel Plus that are connected to the eBay system, and ensure that valid tracking numbers are uploaded within the promised order processing time to ensure their account performance.) 3. Starting from May 1, 2017, for eligible listings, the final fee discount for sellers with excellent ratings will be reduced from 20% to 10%. (II) Changes related to Below Standard Sellers For sellers who do not meet eBay's minimum seller performance standards, final value fees will increase by 4 percentage points on all items sold starting May 1, 2017. To ensure you meet eBay's minimum selling requirements, be sure to follow our selling playbook and check your seller performance sheet frequently. (Tip: For sellers with poor rating indicators, to avoid being downgraded to non-compliant, we recommend: 1. Actively and proactively deal with disputes initiated by buyers, and avoid escalation of individual cases into unresolved disputes through refunds, exchanges, etc. 2. Use the same logistics solution as the buyer. If the buyer chooses standard logistics service, the seller must use a fully tracked logistics service that meets the timeliness requirements and is connected to the eBay platform. Half-tracked or no-tracked logistics services are only available when the buyer chooses economical logistics services.) The above is an interpretation of the relevant policies of Amazon US.
