Brands and new products became the highlights of the second phase of the 109th Canton Fair

According to the Jiangsu trade delegation, about 30% of Jiangsu exhibits at the second phase of the Canton Fair are new products. In some regions, such as Suzhou, new products account for more than 60%, and products with independent intellectual property rights account for more than 30%. Xingsheng Brush Industry and Quanhua Glass have high brand recognition and their turnover exceeded 4 million US dollars; 80% of Baocheng Industrial's exhibits are new decorative paintings with independent copyrights, and the turnover on the first day reached more than 2 million US dollars. Moreover, Jiangsu companies generally show a strong brand awareness. Many companies have or are applying for various professional certifications to improve the quality of their companies and products. Some strong companies have plans to establish distribution channels abroad based on their own brands.

The popularity of branded products can also be seen from the transaction results of the Tianjin Trade Group. According to the Tianjin Trade Group, the transaction volume of Tianjin branded products in the second phase accounted for 15%, an increase of 23% over the previous session. Among them, the transaction volume of household products accounted for 10%, an increase of 150% over the previous session. The total transaction volume of the second phase of the Tianjin Group is expected to be US$190 million, an increase of 10% over the previous session.

The 330 exhibitors of the Shanghai Trade Group also worked hard to overcome the unfavorable factors such as rising raw material prices, rising labor costs, and strong expectations of RMB appreciation by developing new products, and the transaction volume was basically stable. According to incomplete statistics, the total transaction volume of the second phase of the group in the first four days was US$327 million.
