Common electrical safety issues and solutions during BSCI factory audits (IV) The power switch box is not closed

Problem description: The power switch box is not turned off.
Solution: Close the cover of the power switch box to prevent the risk of electric shock from exposed wires.

      h) Are workplaces obstructed by distribution lines (eg electrical cords lying on the floor causing employees to
trip over them, electrical cords on tables, poorly installed electrical cords creating a risk of strangulation)?

      i) Are power hubs, electrical control stations, fuse boxes lockable?

      k) Are light fittings, switches, plugs etc. in good condition, not broken and don't cause danger (electrocution)
to employees (missing cover for switches and plugs)?
      k) Are the lighting equipment, switches and sockets in good condition and not damaged and will not pose any danger (such as electric shock) (due to loss of covers on switches and sockets)?
      l) Do employees working with electricity have adequate qualification?
      l) Are employees whose work involves electricity adequately qualified?
