Guangdong Electronic Commerce Association is a corporate organization registered with the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs. It was established in 2003. It is currently the largest and most influential e-commerce industry organization in South China. The business guidance units are the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province and the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province. After 15 years of development, it has become a national e-commerce integrated innovation pilot project, a key project of the medium- and long-term development plan of Guangdong Province's e-commerce, and a continuing education base for Guangdong provincial professional and technical personnel. It is an institution that undertakes government functions and has the qualifications to purchase services, a service agency for small and medium-sized enterprises in Guangdong Province, and a continuing education base for provincial-level professional and technical personnel in Guangdong Province.
