IZEA and Rakuten jointly launch social media marketing project SocialLinks

According to recent reports from foreign media, social media marketing service company IZEA has cooperated with Rakuten Affiliate Network (formerly Linkshare, a large American online advertising platform) under Rakuten to launch the SocialLinks project to make IZEA's pay-per-action (CPA) social media content marketing more efficient.

IZEA has partnered with Rakuten Affiliate Network to launch SocialLinks, and has received support from one of the top 10 retailers in the U.S. SocialLinks will allow social media marketing content creators, such as bloggers, Viners, Instagramers, YouTubers, etc., to search for retailer products, create marketing content, and quickly generate links from IZEAx. Creators can earn money by sharing links to Twitter, Facebook, and even social messaging platforms using their social influence.

IZEA founder and CEO Ted Murphy will demonstrate the capabilities of the program at the Rakuten Marketing Symposium in Brooklyn, New York on June 23. The conference will bring together e-commerce platform executives, including hundreds of e-commerce company executives, representatives from major publisher sites, and international advertisers. IZEA representatives will be on site to meet with Rakuten Affiliate Network clients interested in joining the SocialLinks program.

“Rakuten Affiliate Network is a leader in performance marketing and we are excited to be working with them to expand our product offerings to advertisers and activate the e-commerce advertising industry in new ways,” said Murphy. “We can now help retailers who work with SocialLinks quickly integrate into this space, consolidate and simplify marketing content with IZEAx, and provide creators with more monetization opportunities.”

In addition to integrating retailers, IZEA aggregates Pinterest onto the platform. All links generated by creators will be processed by IZEAx, which also provides a comprehensive set of analytical tools that will show product performance and help creators optimize product advertising strategies to maximize revenue.
