The BSC factory inspection regulations on working hours are to pay attention to the physical development of workers. 1. BSCI factory inspection accepts a maximum of 6 days of work and 1 day of rest per week, a maximum of 11 hours of work per day, a weekly working time of no more than 52 hours, and a monthly overtime of no more than 36 hours. (When the factory's overtime needs to exceed the 36-hour working system per month, the factory can apply for a comprehensive working time system). 2. The shortest meal break time is 30 minutes (if workers need to punch in during meal time, then the 30-minute break time must be full minutes and seconds, and 1 minute difference is not allowed). If the meal break time is posted and the workers are clear, it is currently acceptable that workers do not punch in, but the meal break time period without punching in must be paid to the workers. 3. BSCI requires workers to rest for 10 hours between two shifts, that is, when workers need to go to work again after completing a shift within 24 hours, they must rest for 10 hours before going to work again. 4. If workers work night shifts, the factory needs to pay them three times their wages for the working hours that exceed 24:00 the night before a statutory holiday. If workers do not work after 24:00, the factory needs to pay them the full 8 hours of normal work that day. |
