What is a Quiksilver factory audit?

The prerequisite for cooperation with Quiksilver is that all agents, licensed manufacturers and suppliers (factories) must comply with the requirements of the "Supplier (Factory) Work Environment Code of Conduct". Quiksilver commissioned Underwriters Laboratory- Responsible Sourcing (UL-RS), formerly known as STR-RS/ Cal Safety Compliance Corporation (CSCC), to conduct all evaluations . Quiksilver requires all suppliers (factories) to undergo regular assessments every year. If a supplier (factory) is found to have violated a project during the assessment, it will be subject to a further assessment. Factory evaluations cannot be scheduled in advance. The evaluation will be conducted within 30 to 60 days after UL-RS receives the evaluation fee. Quiksilver factory audit includes two aspects: social responsibility and counter-terrorism (C-TPAT). |
