HM Factory Audit Hallmark Factory Audit Company Supplier Code of Conduct Labor Suppliers shall not employ any forced labor, such as migrant workers or prison labor, to manufacture the company's products. Hallmark hopes that suppliers will not employ child laborers under the age of 16. If the compulsory education age in the production country is over 16, it is prohibited to employ child laborers under this age limit. Under no circumstances will Hallmark accept any factory employing child laborers under the age of 14. Many countries stipulate that children under the age of 14 must receive education. All employees must work in the factory voluntarily. Employees have the right to free association in accordance with local labor laws, and the factory must respect these rights of employees. Suppliers must pay the minimum wage stipulated by the local government or the salary generally adopted by the market, whichever is higher. If employees need to work overtime, suppliers must pay the corresponding overtime pay. The minimum wage cannot include workers' board and lodging expenses, transportation expenses and other allowances to reach the minimum wage stipulated by the local government. Other benefits provided by suppliers to employees must meet or exceed the regulations of the local government. Working hours are based on local government regulations and actual conditions. Employees must work overtime on a voluntary basis and must be paid appropriate overtime pay. Under normal circumstances, the total working hours of employees in a week shall not exceed 60 hours. If the local government stipulates that the working hours are less than 60 hours, the shorter one shall prevail. In addition, employees must be guaranteed at least one day off every seven days of work. Health and Safety Employers must provide a safe and healthy working environment for their employees. Environmental Protection Suppliers will comply with all local environmental protection laws and regulations. While operating, suppliers should protect natural resources as a principle. All waste must be properly handled to protect the natural environment from being damaged. If a supplier violates the above standards and causes Hallmark to cancel a purchase order or supply agreement, Hallmark will not be responsible for any losses caused to the supplier. |
