Consequences of Violating the BSCI Code of Conduct
If a supplier fails to comply with the requirements of the BSCI Code of Conduct and a resolution cannot be reached and implemented within a reasonable time frame, BSCI members may choose to stop current production, cancel the corresponding contract, suspend future contracts and (or) terminate the business relationship with the member who violated the code. If the audit shows that the behavior has not completely violated the BSCI Code of Conduct, the supplier should immediately adopt the prescribed corrective plan. The time for the supplier to implement the above corrective plan should be agreed by the auditor, but shall not exceed 12 months.

If a supplier was excluded in the past due to violations of the BSCI Code of Conduct, but later demonstrated that he was able to fully comply with the BSCI Code of Conduct, then in principle it would be possible to restore the business relationship with him.
