Has the company made a written commitment to its employees that it will comply with the BSCI social responsibility requirements, including the legal requirements of the countries where it operates? Are these written commitments posted together with the BSCI Code of Conduct where all employees can see them? How is the language used to make it clear to employees? Is this written commitment also attached to each employment contract? 5. Have the necessary official approvals been obtained for the operation of the relevant business and machinery? 6 Is there a system for recording the time each employee arrives and leaves work? Please attach a copy Attendance record punch card/time card Electronic data processing 7 Is the company's written policy readily available describing its social responsibilities, particularly with regard to child labour, female employees, discrimination, forced labour, working hours, compensation, health and social facilities, safety, freedom of association and collective bargaining? 8. Do the documentary evidence of the payment of social security funds exist? 9Does the payroll exist? 10. Are there any documents that record past information about pregnant female employees and their maternity leave? 11 Do work regulations exist? 1) Documentation 2) Is it legally permitted? 3) Let employees understand 4) Does it apply equally to all employees? 12 Is there documented health and safety training (e.g. fire protection)? 13 Are there documents in place to record all hazardous chemicals used? (especially safety data sheets) 14 Are certificates of first aid qualifications readily available? 15 Are the documents for elevator and machine inspections readily available? 16 Does the company keep records of accidents and injuries? 17 Is there a documented record of official comments on social compliance issues, or social compliance audits that include corrective actions? If so, have those comments or corrective actions been effective? 18 Is it possible to provide documents at any time to prove that the drinking water is safe to drink? 19 Do security guards have an employment contract describing their duties? 20Have you reached any written agreement with the union or any labor representatives? If yes, please attach a copy. |
