What payment methods can eBay sellers use to receive payments?

What payment methods do eBay sellers usually use? What payment methods are allowed by eBay? Let's take a look below!

1. Withdrawal by wire transfer

Wire transfer withdrawals are fast and highly secure. For wire transfer withdrawals from PayPal, mainland users can choose to withdraw to a mainland China bank account, a Hong Kong bank account, or a US bank account. Hong Kong users can choose to withdraw to a Hong Kong bank account or a US bank account. Taiwan users can choose to withdraw to a Taiwan bank account or a US bank account.

The wire transfer withdrawal fee will include withdrawal fee, bank charges (please consult each bank for details), refund fee (if the funds arrive at the bank and the bank refuses to deposit the funds, you are advised to consult the bank for the specific reasons, then you will need to pay a certain fee), and different currencies have different minimum withdrawal amounts.

2. Check withdrawal

Request a check from PayPal through the "Other Options" option. Check withdrawals are cheaper, but please consider the long waiting period and the risk of the mail being lost in the mail.

The fees for check withdrawals are divided into two parts: withdrawal fee and return fee. The relevant fees and minimum withdrawal amount of each currency are also different.

Payment methods allowed by eBay.com

eBay has not yet updated the accepted payment methods policy on eBay.com to include eBay Managed Payments. Sellers can still accept payments from buyers using credit or debit cards in their business accounts. The payment methods allowed on eBay.com are:

PayPal

Airwallex can achieve zero fees in the first year by binding with PayPal. Initiate a withdrawal from PayPal and log in to your PayPal account. Select withdraw to Ariwallex global account and then transfer funds from your Airwallex global account to your domestic bank card.

Ariwallex is the payment platform officially supported by eBay.

A debit or credit card in the seller’s Internet merchant account

Face-to-face transactions

Other payment options available to eBay sellers as an alternative to a business collection account:

1. PayPal Managed payments

This is a short-term alternative for sellers, as eBay will eventually require sellers to fully migrate to eBay Managed Payments, and this short-term option will not be available on eBay again until the summer of 2019.

2. eBay Managed Payments

eBay Managed Payments provides sellers with the ability to automatically pay into bank accounts and supports buyers to pay for orders using credit cards, debit cards, gift cards and Apple Pay.
