Currently, factories cannot relocate on their own and require an invitation from a BSCI member to do so. If you receive an email from the new BSCI platform, amfori Sustainable Development Platform, what do you need to do?

1. You will receive an email inviting you to join the amfori Sustainability Platform

You may receive one or more invitations, as each amfori member company that is a client of yours will send you an invitation. Please accept the invitation from the relevant client. Please note that invitations expire 15 days after they are sent.

2. You need to create account information or log in directly

If this is your first time receiving an invitation and logging into the platform, you must first create your own account. If you already have an account, just log in directly to the platform.

3. Classify companies

Please go to My classification and fill in the relevant information to register your company on the platform. If you do not complete the registration, your account will not be effective.

4. Complete company classification

After classification, your personal account will be activated. At the same time, your amfori ID number will be generated. The amfori ID is your unique identification number at amfori and will replace the BSCI DBID.

2. New platform download report process:

To download the report, please enter the platform, click "Monitoring-Results" , find and click the latest audit record, and then click "export result (. PDF)" in the upper right corner to download the report.

3. What content has been updated on the BSCI platform?

1. Starting from 2021, BSCI will launch a new platform system, and the old platform system will gradually stop being used. Currently, factories cannot transfer on their own and need to be invited by BSCI members to operate;

2. It was said before that the audit report of the new platform will no longer be available for download, and you can only log in online to view the results and problem points. At present, the audit agency of the new platform cannot download the report, but the factory can still download it by itself in the background. Whether it will be available in the future is still unknown;

3. BSCI has also updated the ID number, which was previously called the DBID number and is now called the amfori ID (consisting of 12 numbers), for example: 123-4567891-011.

Many people say that BSCI will only have semi-notified audits and will cancel the current notified audits. This needs to be corrected. The audit model of BSCI factory inspections remains the same as before, and there are still full-notified audits.
