Zhejiang's minimum wage standard exceeds that of 12 provinces, ranking first

According to the Legal Evening News, Zhejiang Province began to implement a new minimum wage standard from April 1, which was adjusted from 1,100 yuan per month to 1,310 yuan. Just after the first quarter of this year, 12 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across the country adjusted their minimum wage standards. Reporters found that the majority of provinces that adjusted their minimum wage standards were in the eastern region. In terms of the amount of the minimum wage, Zhejiang in the eastern region surpassed Shanghai, which has always been at the top of the list, and became the province with the highest minimum wage standard in the country.

Among the 12 regions that adjusted their minimum wage standards, eight provinces in the east all had minimum wages exceeding 1,000 yuan. Experts said that the east is a developed economic region in China, and its location as a processing and commodity export base makes these provinces very much in need of high-quality labor. Therefore, in order to attract labor, wage increases have become inevitable. In addition, Hangzhou, Ningbo and other places in Zhejiang have encountered difficulties in recruiting workers since the Spring Festival this year.

In addition, half of the regions saw an increase of more than 20%, with Chongqing's increase of 27.9%, ranking first in this ranking.
