eBay supports overseas warehouses, sellers receive "special protection" after use

Recently, the cross-border e-commerce platform eBay launched a protection policy for sellers using Winit overseas warehouses. It will remove some bad transaction records generated by sellers during the last-mile delivery to help sellers shield themselves from the rating assessment risks brought by using overseas warehouses, while also supporting Winit overseas warehouses.

eBay said that using overseas warehouses can not only shorten the delivery and transit time and improve the buyers' shopping experience on eBay, but also help expand product categories and improve the closed loop of after-sales service. After listening to many sellers' suggestions and conducting research, eBay decided to implement a protection policy for sellers using Winit overseas warehouses: related bad transaction records caused by Winit services will be removed.

The policy stipulates that if Winit’s operation causes bad transaction records (including medium and bad reviews, low scores for item delivery time, disputes over items not received, etc.), and Winit’s wrong shipment and item damage during final delivery cause bad transaction records (including medium and bad reviews, low scores for items described truthfully, and serious discrepancies between items and descriptions, etc.), then the tracking number will not affect the qualification assessment of excellent rated sellers. And this protection clause will also apply to the removal of PayPal disputes.

It is reported that Winit Overseas Warehouse Seller Protection Policy applies to all eBay transactions of goods shipped from Winit Overseas Warehouse (Australia Warehouse, US Warehouse, UK Warehouse, Germany Warehouse). However, all goods must have arrived at Winit warehouse and completed listing, and the last-mile delivery must be accompanied by a tracking service. The corresponding tracking information can be checked on the logistics company's official website. At the same time, non-registered services do not enjoy Winit Overseas Warehouse Seller Protection Policy.

According to public information, the editor learned that as the popularity of overseas warehouses increases, the proportion of eBay overseas warehouse shipments has increased year by year, and currently accounts for one-third of the total. Since the beginning of this year, eBay has established a cooperative relationship with Winit, a foreign trade e-commerce service provider, and has successively launched warehouses in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany. The introduction of the seller protection policy also serves Winit's overseas warehouses, which shows how much eBay attaches importance to overseas warehouses.
