Walmart's latest standard high-risk items in 2013: deductions and benefits

1. Collecting fees for PPE, factory uniforms, etc. from workers when or after they join the company
2. When workers do not stay in the factory for food and lodging, the cost of food and lodging will be deducted.
3. No deductions based on proportion (e.g. if you are 5 minutes late, half an hour or one hour’s salary will be deducted)
4. The deduction amount exceeds 20% of the normal salary; the salary after deduction is lower than the minimum wage standard
5. Factory rules and regulations involving fines/deductions must be filed with the Workers' Congress or the Labor Bureau
6. Failure to provide statutory benefits (maternity leave, sick leave, work injury leave, suspension of work pending materials, annual leave)
7. Failure to insure workers
