What is Fordeal? Why can Fordeal continue to develop during the epidemic? Today, the editor will take you to learn about Fordeal.

During the epidemic, Fordeal did not stop, but took the initiative to meet the challenge head-on, established overseas warehouses in several countries in the Middle East and Europe where Muslims account for a large proportion, integrated the local distribution system, and improved the back-end warehouse and distribution links. In this way, products that originally required uneconomical transportation by plane, such as sofas, beds and other large goods, can be sold without obstacles.

The main peak seasons for e-commerce platforms in the Middle East are Ramadan, Eid al-Adha and Black Friday. The biggest shopping festival is definitely Black Friday. Fordeal’s performance during Black Friday this year was more than five times its normal monthly performance. Currently, Fordeal’s hot-selling categories are still mainly women’s clothing, men’s clothing, shoes and bags, accessories, and household items, supplemented by other categories.

Similarly, Fordeal is going further and further on the road of deepening brand overseas expansion and promoting localization, launching a new shopping terminal Al-Mart, which, like Fordeal's main website, provides consumers with men's and women's clothing, shoes, bags and accessories, skin care and cosmetics, electronic digital products, furniture and supplies, etc. Currently, it only covers Saudi Arabia and China, and supports three languages: Chinese, English and Arabic.

Al-Mart was originally established to help merchants solve the problem of returns. As we all know, the proportion of COD (cash on delivery) in the Middle East is very high, with the market average being around 90%, which means only about 10% is paid online. It rose slightly during the epidemic, but fell back after the local lockdown. The biggest problem with COD is the signing rate. If the signing is refused, the goods will be damaged, which is a direct cost to the merchant.

After more than three years of refined operations and accumulation, Fordeal's overall COD signing rate in the Middle East is about 10% higher than the average level of other comprehensive e-commerce companies, and the highest has even reached 14%.

As a result, it is difficult for the local acceptance rate in the Middle East to reach 100%, so there will inevitably be unaccepted goods. Al-Mart was created to help merchants deal with the secondary resale of unaccepted goods, so that merchants can ensure that their goods are completely sold in the entire Fordeal APP matrix, without having to worry about returns from the Middle East. Although Al-Mart's operating data has not yet been separately counted, from the overall situation, it is not bad overall. It is currently ranked at the top of the Saudi Arabia shopping APP list with Fordeal's main site. If merchants want to enter Al-Mart, they only need to enter Fordeal.

While Fordeal is expanding rapidly and steadily, it will also focus on improving its customer service system and return and exchange system, and continue to comprehensively enhance customer experience in order to achieve the goal of increasing overall customer LTV.
