eBay business account does not meet the requirements or receives sales restrictions

eBay has been implementing the overseas warehouse service standard management policy since March. eBay said that based on the original evaluation of the bad logistics transaction rate, they will combine the docking situation of each site with the local logistics service providers, and gradually conduct assessments on the overseas warehouse indicators of each site. eBay will first evaluate the overseas warehouse listings and transactions of the UK and US sites from the end of March.

The most important thing is that the first evaluation transaction cycle started on March 10, and accounts that do not meet the standards are likely to be subject to sales restrictions. If sellers not only sell on Amazon Germany but also on eBay, and are caught in the "vortex" of the policy, how much pressure will they be under?

What are the standards for overseas warehouses required by eBay? Here is a list for you:

The requirements for UK overseas warehouses are as follows:

1. Compliance rate: no less than 80% of active listings are committed to a timeliness that complies with the order processing time of no more than 2 days, and the committed logistics arrival time of no more than 3 days;

2. Timely delivery rate: no less than 50% of the scans will be delivered within 5 working days after payment;

The requirements for US overseas warehouses are as follows:

——Timely delivery rate: no less than 80% of the collection scans are within 2 working days after payment.

eBay has put forward such strict requirements on sellers of overseas warehouses this time. In fact, it is beneficial to large sellers with overseas warehouses and resources. If the sellers can complete the targets on time, I believe eBay will provide sellers with more traffic allocation. However, it is particularly bad for small sellers who do not have overseas warehouse resources!

eBay will officially implement the above requirements and conduct assessments on April 23, 2019, and the first assessment transaction will be conducted from March 10 to April 6, 2019. Accounts that do not meet the requirements may be subject to sales restrictions. The assessment time for other overseas warehouse indicators will be announced later, and the Seller Center will also launch the performance of overseas warehouse transaction assessment indicators in early April.
